Detailing User Flows and Collaboration

We have an hour to begin detailing user flows, expectations and exception handling. There are more collaborative techniques for getting at this but given the time, online participation, and web based tool, I’m resorting to a good old activity flow map. Suggestions for next time?

I get to pretend to be a grown up in NYC. That is — a grown up who doesn’t feel it some of the time but can muster a good impression most of the time.

Research on Dual Track Agile in Energy Sector

Completed a third draft of the research paper I’m authoring with Michael Wytock and Caroline Miller on using dual track agile to accelerate the timeline for when aggregations of sustainable distributed energy resources can compete with fossil fuel plants to provide power under Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Order 2222.

Would love informal peer review from any power sector or agile domain experts out there before we submit. Reply if interested.

Closing the Loop with AI Art

Opening unopened email. Subjects attempting to “close the loop” put my mind in a loop. So, I asked midjourney to draw “closing the loop in the style of a single line drawing” for me…

Except for generative ai hand weirdness it’s quite a good evocation of the moment.

I’m embracing the joy of selective participation. Reducing the time I spend doing things I “should” do. Focusing my time helping co-workers with permission on their terms and advancing my own learning and growth.
